Present Governor of Kogi State Yahaya Bello pointed a finger of accusation to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of doing little or nothing at all in regards to infrastructural development in the country noting that to be one of the reasons behind him not challenging President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
Bello was full of praise and adoration for the achievement of the president in terms of infrastructure achievements.
The Kogi State Governor further went on to add that he would continue the legacy left by Buhari should he mount the seat
“Today, I am running to build on the successes of President Muhammadu Buhari because of his performance*.
“In 2015, I dare not because there was no foundation whatsoever to build upon. But today under APC, President Muhammadu Buhari hasbeen able to lay the foundation that I can build upon,” he added.
“Why can’t we in this country develop homegrown solutions to our own
problems?” he concluded
