Reactions has been ravaging the internet most especially on every social media platform which has continued to pour in the aftermath of Smiths altercation with Chris Rock at the Oscar’s Award Ceremony.
Just exactly the same way every celebrities had reacted to the altercation at the award ceremony, Nigeria’s Musical icon Paul Okoye had also joined the trend by reacting to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.
Taking to the social media platform Instagram, the Nigeria singer Paul Okoye predicted that Nigerian comedians will also suffer such a similar fate as that of Chris Rock in days to come.
Sharing a post via his Instagram Stories, the legendary musician, PSquare noted that comedians will suffer similar fate because Nigerians are widely known for ‘copy and paste’ attitudes.
In his reaction “Naija comedians go calm down a bit. Will Smith don open doors for some people. Please do not allow yourself to be used as the Naija version of the Oscars. Naija sabi copy and paste,” he reacted.
Recall that just on Sunday night during the awards, Rock had allegedly took to the stage where he made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada’s bald head.
He said “Jada, I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” of which the “King Richard” star initially laughed at before things turned sour.
Smith standing up on his feet, walked up to Rock and slapped him of which Rock responded A few seconds later, “Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s–t out of me” before going on to add that was “just a ‘G.I. Jane’ joke.”
But the Oscar-winning actor wasn’t ready to entertain any excuses and screamed,
“Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.”
“That was the greatest night in the history of television,” Rock remarked in the aftermath of the altercation. One which might just be one of the biggest entertainment highlights to ever happen this year.
