Nottingham Forest Secures Signing of Super Eagles Midfielder Ndidi

In a prospective move that’s been making waves, Nottingham Forest is poised to launch a bid to secure the services of Wilfred Ndidi, the talented midfielder hailing from the Super Eagles squad and currently representing Leicester City.

As per insights provided by football’s transfer authority, Fabrizio Romano, a significant step has been taken in this direction, with Forest successfully reaching agreeable terms directly with the player himself. With the transfer window’s closure looming just three days away, both parties are preparing to engage in negotiations.

Having initially made his mark by transitioning from Genk to the Foxes back in 2017, the 26-year-old Ndidi has amassed an impressive track record, boasting an impressive 242 appearances. His contributions include notching 12 goals and facilitating an additional 12 assists for the club during his tenure.

Notably, Nottingham Forest has been an active player in this season’s transfer arena, securing notable talents such as Andrey Santos from Chelsea, Gonzalo Montiel on loan from Sevilla, as well as Anthony Elanga, Chris Wood, and Matt Turner.

Should this deal come to fruition, Ndidi would find himself in the company of compatriots Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Emmanuel Denis, further solidifying the Nigerian presence within the club’s ranks.
