The ongoing dialogue surrounding Bayern’s head coach Thomas Tuchel’s pursuit of a proficient “holding six” midfielder is poised to persist right up until the closing of the transfer window next week.
The highly sought-after Nigerian international, with 51 caps to his name, is anticipated to become a free agent at the end of his current contract this summer. Notably, Leicester would be unable to facilitate a loan for the 26-year-old unless an extension to his current contract is finalized.
