Wolverhampton’s Attention Turns to Kelechi Ihenacho for Potential Transfer

Wolverhampton Wanderers, a prominent team in the Premier League, have included Kelechi Ihenacho, the forward from Leicester and a member of the Super Eagles squad, in their potential signings list as the transfer window approaches its closure.

As reported by Football Inside, the Premier League outfit aims to bolster their offensive lineup by recruiting a minimum of two players, and Kelechi Ihenacho stands out as a prominent candidate.

These developments follow an offer of £12 million made by Crystal Palace for the services of the Foxes’ striker, a deal that currently remains in limbo.

Reports suggest that Kelechi Ihenacho is keen on departing from his current club, driven by his preference to avoid competing in the second division of English professional football. Despite this, he has already displayed his prowess this season by scoring a goal and contributing three assists.

Although Ihenacho couldn’t guide Leicester City to safety from relegation in the previous season, his impressive performance of eight goals and five assists in 35 appearances for the Foxes earned him the esteemed title of the club’s Player of the Year.
